Boiled Whole Wild Stone Octopus (about 1.6kg)
Each order comes with a whole wild stone octopus that is caught in the deepest part of the South Coast of Korea, immediately trimmed and perfectly boiled at a HACCP certified facility, then rapidly frozen to keep them at the most desirable condition until ready to eat. Delicately chewy texture with a sweet aftertaste will give great pleasure to your mouth.
Cooking Instruction: Simply thaw it overnight in a refrigerator. Slice it to your preferred thickness, and enjoy with Cho gochujang sauce (Red pepper paste with vinegar sauce) or oil sauce (Sesame oil + Salt)!
How to cook Octopus Ramen:
- Prepare thawed octopus by cutting them into desirable pieces. Set aside.
- Boil water in a pot, cook ramen as instructed on the ramen package, and add prepared octopus slices when the noodles are almost fully cooked. Let it boil for another minute.
- Add bean sprouts, green onions, or any of your favorite vegetables to your liking. Please note if octopus is cooked for too long it will become tough to chew.
Precautions
Please keep frozen immediately upon receiving. Please do not refreeze once thawed.
Information about the size: Each octopus is about 1.6 to 2kg when freshly caught. Once gutted, trimmed, and boiled, it shrinks in size by about 30%. Please refer to the size comparison image.
