What is Gamtae Seaweed?

Gamtae (so-called Ecklonia Cava) is an unique type of seaweed that only grows in the uncontaminated clean coastal sea waters. It is a fine delicacy with a great flavor and aroma.  Gamtae contains high level of vitamins, minerals, protein, fiber, and other beneficial nutrients. 

How to Enjoy:

• Use it instead of seaweed (Gim) to make gimbap or sushi roll. 
• Break them into small pieces and use as garnish.  Add it on top of rice, porridge, or even ramen. 5378
• Try making Korean gamtae eggroll (Gyeranmari) by adding a sheet of gamtae seaweed in the eggroll.
• Or simply cut it in desirable size and enjoy!

Tips: 

• Store at room temperature in a cool place away from direct sunlight. 

• For long-term storage, maintain quality by keeping it frozen.
